Tuesday, 3/18/25, 9 am - 12 pm, Osiaol
The activity started with each group summarizing what they did yesterday.
Fr. Arthur then led a review of pages 1-6 of the handbook, pointing out various issues in the current version and explaining the context and considerations that need to be taken in order to improve these sections.
In particular, the participants tried out how to develop a mission statement from a set of guiding principles.
The session ended with a brief congregation at the church to pray and reflect on what has been done so far.

The following guiding principles taken from items being considered by the Board of Members for the "Purpose" section of the ByLaws:
- Deliver quality primary and secondary education to youth across Palau.
- Promote lifelong Christian values and attitudes.
- Foster personal character growth, emphasizing respect, responsibility, integrity, initiative, and concern for others.
- Encourage students to utilize their abilities in service to the Palauan community, particularly to the needy.
- Build a spirit of unity and community among students and staff while respecting diverse religious, ethnic, and social traditions.
- Develop trained young leaders for service in the Catholic Church and the broader community of Palau.

The mission of Catholic Mission Schools of Palau is to nurture the development of our students spiritually, intellectually, morally, socially, emotionally, and physically – in a Palauan cultural context – so they may better live out their Catholic faith and answer the Christian call to service.
